Rihanna's stylist is doing it big with flowers these days...the colors are giving me life!
After drinks & dinner last night, I had a prospective friend, strictly platonic, over my place. She walked up to the door, and said, "It smells like a spa...real floral-y!" I hear it all the time, although I can't smell it anymore cause I live in it, but I do have big floral prints on my walls & lots of plants. Almost everything else (furniture, upholstery, curtains, etc.) is white, so it's real bright and clean looking, but the flowers and colors from my prints & plants pop against that and my light-grey walls. Color and plants have always made me happy--I mean who doesn't get happy looking at/receiving/buying/gifting flowers? I even put organic edible flowers in my salads to make it pretty...I mean they're healthy too. Therapeutic. And let's not forget that other words to refer to the female genitalia have been "rose" and "flower" ;-) Clearly I need flowers in my life...just one, will do...
